You would need drawing paper (or sketchbook), preferably in different sizes.
And the only other main material is oil pastels. If that is not available for you, you may use an alternative medium - like markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc.

No, not at all! This is great for people who are beginners, or have no skills or background in art. This is not an art class, so it's not about techniques. You will be gently guided step by step, through expressive art drawing activities that don't require specific drawing skills. You'll find so much freedom to be able to draw your feelings without the constraints and pressures of mastering techniques.
