Art Therapy Trainings You Can Attend
Art Therapy Trainings You Can Attend
Hey therapeutic art facilitator! In this post, you’ll see a list of mostly trainings, classes, workshops, conferences, and programs that you can attend to hone your skills in providing therapeutic art services (there are a mix of online and in-person).
If you are a social worker, counselor, creative coach, or any type of healer interested in incorporating art-based approaches into your work, these are a mix of in-person online trainings to consider that are related to art therapy.
(These are not in particular order.) Each one has a particular approach, subject matter, or focus in their training so please check out their respective websites to find out more about what they offer. These are the trainings that will give you specific in-depth knowledge and help you develop real skills, unlike some other online courses out there that give you more superficial information around art therapy.
The list is right below!
Courses and Programs
These are online courses or programs, which may include having a curriculum, evaluation, getting a certificate, etc. Note that these are generally more extensive and intensive than one-time classes.

Please note that these offerings may change their online / in-person format, so check their websites to verify if they still provide it online.
Also check out your local university’s art therapy master’s program’s community offerings (e.g., free public lectures or workshops) and local art therapy organization’s continuing education classes. They can be great resources to expand your knowledge.
If there are more trainings you know, please share them in the comments!
